When rented together, Wetekia the cottage (sleeps 4) and Henipapa the main house (sleeps 12) have 3 bathrooms between them, 2 BBQs, 2 full kitchens, 2 connectable bluetooth speakers, 2 smart TVs, loads of outdoor beanbags and much, much more!
When rented separately, there is plenty of space for you to have privacy from guests in the other house.
There are multiple viewing spots of the bay & bush all over the large half-acre property, with plenty of spaces to hang out together, and plenty of places to hang out alone....
.....just grab one of the beanbags, a book from the shared library and find a spot in the sun with a lovely view to pass the time.

Relax and enjoy an easy 3 minute walk into Kororareka (Russell).
There's plenty to do, from long lazy lunches and cocktails at The Duke, New Zealand's oldest pub..... to safe all-tide swimming in Kororareka Bay, the main beach just in front of the house.
Head down at high tide to watch the locals engaging in the time honoured kiwi tradition of 'bombing off the wharf'.... or if you're feeling brave get in and do some yourself!
Russell has loads of great eateries, galleries and gift shops and a very well provisioned Four Square supermarket offering all you need for a great holiday.
